| Abstract: | The rocks and rock masses which have bad engineering characteristics and easily result in engineering accidents are called the bad rocks or problem rocks.The genesis and the engineering characteristics of the bad rocks such as soft rocks,swelling rocks,tectonites,flaked metamorphic rocks,salt-bearing rocks,loose rocks and weathered rocks are expounded respectively,which should be paid attention to by engineers and further studied. |
