论传统UPS供电系统的问题与变革

摘    要:传统的UPS供电系统存在的主要问题是如何有效地提高系统可靠性。可靠性不高是传统的UPS设计理念造成的,而传统设计理念的结症又可归结为备用能源配置方法问题。备用能源(电池)要经过UPS设备中最薄弱环节—逆变器才能向负载供电,这是造成UPS系统必须两次变换能源、系统中存在着负载和UPS本身两个谐波源、系统过于复杂和结构臃肿、成本不断攀升、效率低下、可靠性难以有效提高的根本原因。本文在可靠性理论研究的基础上,提出必须改变备用能源配置方法,由备用能源(电池)直接用直流电压对负载供电,以上问题就迎刃而解,使UPS 系统的可靠性、建造成本、能源利用率、系统标准化等方面,都会产生革命性的变化。

Abstract:The main issue of the traditional UPS power supply system is how to improve the system reliability. Low reliability is caused by the design theory of the traditional UPS, which can be come down to the issue of the deployment way of back-up energy source. Back-up energy source (battery) supply to load through the inverter, which is the most weakness part of the UPS. This is the primary reason of causing double conversion of energy in UPS system, two harmonic sources of both UPS and load, over complicated system and overstaffed configuration, increasing cost, low efficiency, and hardly improved reliability. Based on the study on the reliability theory, this paper put forward that it must to change the deployment of back-up energy source, to supply DC voltage to the load by back-up source (battery) directly, thus all above issues will be solved readily, and the revolutionary changes will taken place in the reliability, construction cost, energy utilization ratio and system standardization of the UPS system.
