Electron-phonon coupling and hot-electron effects in doped semiconductors near 50 mK

In the study of electrical properties of neutron-transmutation doped Ge at very low temperature, it is generally assumed that the electrons and the phonons are thermally decoupled. We present here a study of the electron-phonon coupling in doped germanium near 50 mK, in the presence of an electric field and of its influence on hot electron effects.
