摘    要:以氯化亚铜、1,10-邻菲咯啉为催化剂,二苯胺及其衍生物与对碘甲苯经U llm ann反应合成了4-甲基三苯胺(MTPA)、4,4′-二甲基三苯胺(DMTPA)和4,4,′4″-三甲基三苯胺(TMTPA),收率分别达到了94.61%、94.76%和94.93%,产物的HPLC纯度都高于99.50%,并用红外光谱、元素分析及质谱对产物结构和组成进行了鉴定。

Abstract:An improved process was developed for synthesis of 4-methyltriphenylamine(MTPA),4,4′-dimethyltriphenylamine(DMTPA) and 4,4′,4″-trimethyltriphenylamine(TMTPA) through Ullmann reaction of diphenylamine or methyl-substituted diphenylamines with p-iodotoluene using cuprous chloride and 1,10-phenanthroline as catalyst.Under the optimum synthesis conditions,the yields are 94.61%,94.76% and 94.93% respectively,and the HPLC purities are all higher than 99.5%.IR,EA and MS were used to determine the structure and purity of the products.
