Human factors in risk analysis
Abstract:Humans, both operators and managers, contribute significantly to functional risk. Engineering risk analysts therefore need to learn and apply human reliability assessment methods. This article points to the resulting shortcomings in analyses, argues for a new approach, and shows the scope for research into the subject
