随着高职教学改革的进一步推进,各个高职院校越来越注重学生专业技能的培养,其中包括对专业英语的掌握和应用,而现阶段的高职专业英语教材大多注重阅读教学,忽视专业英语在学生将来的工作中的应用与实践。本文旨在运用适合高职学生专业特点的项目导向教学模式,探索高职热动英语教材编写的新模式,培养学生在未来工作中对专业英语的实际运用能力。

Exploration on a New Way of English Textbook Compilation for Thermal Power Engineering --Application of Project Oriented English Teaching Model for Thermal Power Engineering in Professional Colleges

With the development of reform on professional teaching, professional colleges pay more and more attention on students＇ professional training English. However, most of the special English on skills, including the mastery and application of special textbooks for professional colleges focus on reading rather than application and practice. The purpose of this thesis is to explore a new way to compile an English text- book for thermal power engineering by using project oriented teaching model, which is appropriate for the speciality of students in professional colleges, and to train their actual operation ability for the future job.
