| Abstract: | This essay discusses the relationship between OPEN＇s Fangshan Campus project and the modernist tradition. It analyzes the general structureand distinct characteristics of the design. Special attention is paid to the reform intentions imbedded in this design. The author thus discusses the premises, institutional interconnections and future difficulties faced by such reform intentions. |
