摘    要:智能交通系统利用电子信息与通信技术来提高交通效率和安全性。文中分析了智能交通系统的概念和作用,并介绍了电子信息与通信技术在该系统中的应用,包括交通数据采集与处理技术、交通信号控制技术、交通管理与调度技术、交通信息服务技术、交通安全监测与预警技术等。最后,讨论了智能交通系统在发展过程中存在的挑战及其发展趋势。研究电子信息与通信技术在智能交通系统中的应用,不仅可以提高交通系统的运行效率和安全性,改善交通环境,还可以为交通参与者提供更好的出行体验和服务,推动交通系统的创新、发展,对城市交通系统的可持续发展和城市居民的生活质量提升具有重要意义。

Abstract:Intelligent transportation systems utilize electronic information and communication technologies to improve traffic efficiency and safety. This paper analyzes the concept and function of intelligent transportation systems, and introduces the application of electronic information and communication technologies in the system, including traffic data collection and processing technologies, traffic signal control technologies, traffic management and dispatching technologies, traffic information service technologies, traffic safety monitoring and early warning technologies, etc. Finally, the challenges and development trends of intelligent transportation systems in the development process are discussed. Studying the application of electronic information and communication technologies in intelligent transportation systems can not only improve the operational efficiency and safety of traffic systems, but also enhance the travel experience and services for participants, promote innovation and development of traffic systems, and have significant implications for the sustainable development of urban transportation systems and the improvement of residents'' quality of life.
