| Abstract: | The characterisation of thermal shrinkage in biaxially oriented PET films and containers were studied by TMA. The relationship between shrinkage properties and molecular structure and various affecting factors on thermal shrinkage have been discussed. The result shown that the TMA technique is an effective and convenient method for characterising thermal shrinkage in oriented polymer materials. |
