| Abstract: | The classification of functionally graded hard metals is summarized.Some preparation techniques and applied fields of WC-Co graded hard materials are introduced.Some key issues are focused on,including formation mechanisms,driving forces and growth kinetics of gradient structure.Problems in the research are discussed and potential research tendency is also pointed out. |
