The river way closure cofferdam construction got extensive use as one kind of routine construction techniques, but it has certain limitation on some specially conditions. River way immersed tube technology has been put in practice and use in project, so it becomes comparatively mature construction techniques. This paper introduces the principle and technique of river way immersed tube construction, and compare with traditional river way cofferdam construction.
