| Abstract: | Diversion construction of the Three Gorges project is one of its major technical problems for a high flow rate of the Yangtze River, high requirement for the navigation during the construction and a complicated construction of the second stage deep water cofferdam. A construction scheme,open channel navigation,three-stage diversion is chosen after forly forty year's designs, researches, and comprehesive comparisons have been made on the argument results. |
