Parsing of Underwriter Laboratories Inc.standard for vehicle battery

Comparison was made to the Underwriter Laboratories Inc.(UL) standard (UL2271:2013,L2272:2016 and UL2580:2013) for the test project and the adaptation scope.Differences of test requirements between UL standard and other standards for battery were explored.The key technical points of general test project were deeply analyzed including overcharge test,short test,overdischarge test,temperature test,imbalanced charging test.Meanwhile,exploration was made to special test project containing motor overload test,motor locked rotor,strain relief test,failure of cooling/thermal stability system and external/internal fire exposure test.
