Industry development of unsaturated polyester resin abroad from 2005 to 2006

In this paper, the market situation, commercial trend and technological progress of unsaturated polyester resin and fiber glass reinforced plastics from 2005 to 2006 were reviewed with 24 references. The market situation included price of crude petroleum and its affecting on U PR; consumption of U PR and its composition in different forming method in Japan; UPR industry recombination and; import and output of UPR in 2005; UPR composite materials and its application and sale; the UPR formula for mobile composite material. The technological progress included monitor unit for curing degree of UPR; novel modifier for UPR, epoxy modified novolac; low profile additive for UPR; double initiated and accelerated UPR system. The development of biocomposite was also introduced mainly.
