Study of the Way of Cultivating Strategic Emerging Industries in Tianjin

The cultivating and developing of strategic emerging industries is the only way to promote the upgrading of industrial structure, accelerate the transformation of the mode of economic growth and achieve sustainable economic and social development. Therefore, the development of strategic emerging industries in Tianjin should be promoted by rational positioning, scientific selection of priority areas and key industries, establishment of a sound policy framework, improvement of laws and regulations, creation of sound developing environment; besides, strengthening of the production-study-research cooperation, building a sound science and technology intermediary service system and multi-channel incentives mechanism, and increasing the intensity of the transformation of major scientific and technological achievements are also the key cotmtermeasures for development of strategic emerging industries in Tianjin.
