改进的宏块层视频码率控制方法

提出了一种新的宏块层码率控制方法,根据宏块运动剧烈程度,分配不同的量化步长,以便给图像复杂区分配更多的比特。并采用优化的编码顺序,有效地避免了传统编码顺序造成的质量下降问题。仿真结果表明,该方法能减少跳帧数,同时平均峰值信噪比也有所提高。

Improved Macroblock-Layer Rate Control Method

In this paper,a new macroblock-layer rate control method is proposed. As the scheme indicates,the quantization step sizes of the area are determined by the motion activity of the macroblocks,so that the scheme distributes more bits to the motion macroblocks.And an optimized order of quantization were put forward too.The optimized order of quantization can efficiently avoid the question that the quality decreased caused by the conventional coding order.The simulation results show that the proposed rate control method can decrease number of frames skipped and average PSNR is also improved.
