饱和状态下IEEE802.11广播的性能分析

摘    要:通过对IEEE 802.11广播协议建立马尔可夫链模型,并增加考虑了数据帧长度对网络性能的影响,分析了无线局域网中饱和状态下广播协议的性能;通过对隐藏站点问题的分析,得到了多跳无线网络中可靠广播的吞吐量范围.利用仿真实验验证了分析模型,性能分析的结果为各种基于IEEE 802.11广播协议的应用提供了分析与改进的依据.

Abstract:Broadcast is the foundamental part of some distributed protocols. Recently, some applications on vehicular ad-hoc networks begin to use broadcast to transmit information. A Markov chain model is developed to evaluate the performance of IEEE 802.11 broadcast in WLAN under saturation condition. The influence of data frame length on performance is considered in the model. In addition, by analyzing the hidden terminal problems, the ranges of the throughput of IEEE 802.11 reliable broadcast in wireless multi-hop networks are calculated. The analytical model is validated by simulation. The results are the basis for the analysis and enhancement of the performance of the IEEE 802.11 broadcast applications.
