和谐社会是公共关系事业赖以生存的基础,也是公共关系要追求的最终目的。它从更高角度来构建人类的生存和繁衍环境,是公共关系事业建立和生存的土壤。可以说构建和谐社会是更为宽泛与更为宏观的“公共关系大事业”。公共关系则是从微观角度来为这种社会和谐进行修补和沟通,是在为构建这种和谐社会添砖加瓦。公共关系只有在和谐的宏观社会环境里才能建立和发展,才能最好地发挥自己的作用,才能达到和谐组织与塑造形象等目的。社会环境因为有公共关系事业才能更好地走向和谐与健康发展。

On the Relationship between Public Relations and Harmonious Society

Harmonious society is the basis on which Public Relations is built as well as a goal that Public Relations tries to attain. It constructs the environment for human survival and multiplication from a higher angle and it also provides a good soil for the construction and survival of Public Relations cause. It can be said that the construction of harmonious society is a more extensive and macroscopical "grand cause of Public Relations". From a microcosmic point of view, Public Relations is to remedy and communicate with the harmony of such a society, thus contributing to the construction of harmonious society. Therefore, Public Relations share the same aim as the construction of harmonious society. Only in a harmonious macro-society can Public Relations be built and developed and bring itself into full play to realize the purpose of harmonizing organizations and modeling images. Meanwhile, only with the Public Relations cause can social environment make for more harmonious and healthy development
