THE FORMULATION OF LARGE VOLUME PUMPING CONCRETE OF THE BLAST FURNACE SYSTEM IN BAOGANG

This paper presents the experiment and construction of large volume pumping concrete of the founda- tion of the blast furnance and hot-blast stove of Baog ang. A preliminanrystudy has been made so as to control the quality and crack of large volume pumping concrete during the totalprocess from the deign of the concrete formulation to the construction. The concrete formulution is designed using the techinque of the double blend, quality control of raw material and decrease of the cement quantity in a unit volume concrete etc.
