Dyeing and finishing process of hemp/cotton knitted fabric

Introduced the characteristics of the hemp/cotton blended knitted goods. The pretreatment of hemp/cotton blended yarn was performed with a special softening/lubricating agent, and the softness and lubricating behavior of the yarn were improved and the long-standing problem of holes on knitted fabrics which result from yarn breakage during knitting has been solved. The key processes such as scouring, bleaching and dyeing were discussed. It is suggested that rational recipe be used in these processes so that the superior characteristics of hemp/cotton knitted fabric could be brought out. The procedures and process parameters are given, which may serve as reference for product development of the same kind.
