摘    要:以CBD、购物区和旅游区的行人道路指示系统和全天候行人交通系统这两个重要细节问题为例,探讨如何进行以人为本的城市设计,从而建立一个充满人文关怀的城市形象,提高城市的吸引力和竞争力。

Abstract:Urban design includes many aspects,such as layout, landscape, and visual design.Unfortunately, most urban designs of CBD, shop-ping and tourist areas often neglect the detail designof pedestrian signage system (road signs, directories),and all-weather pedestrian walkway system (coveredwalkways), making visitors to these areas to feel in-convenient and uncomfortable. This affects people’sview of the urban design, no matter how good it is,and also against the principle of people orienteddesign. This paper examines how to make the pedes-trian signage and walkway systems of shopping andbusiness districts to be people-oriented and userfriendly in order to improve the image of the city andto make it more competitive in place making.
