牙化石珐琅样的ESR测年研究

摘    要:报道了金牛山古人类遗址5个牙化石样品的ESR和铀系法对比测年结果。两种方法给出相近的23—24万年的年龄值。着重讨论了ESR测年中简单指数拟合求累积剂量的困难、α射线相对效率和氡逸失系数的实验测定以及应如何选择铀加入模式等问题。

Abstract:Five tooth samples from the palaeoanthropological site of Jinniushan were dated with both electron- spin- resonance(ESR) and uranium- series techniques. The ESR age of about 230 ka is in good agreement with the U- series dating result, which confirms the hypothesis of possible coexistence of Homo erectus and Homo sapiens in China . Problems in ESR dating are discussed such as :1) inappropriaty of simple exponential extrapolation for accumulated dose determination; 2) experimental measurement of alpha detection efficiency and radon emanation and 3) selection of U- uptake model.
