An Overview of Software Radio

Software radio is a recently proposed system in realizing wireless communication,and is regarded as the 3rd generation wireless communication technique following the analog communication and the digital communication.Software radio technology has become an important subject in the field of radio application.Especially when the information becomes the key factor to dominating the market competition and the victory of a military warfare,SDR,as a technology in favour of reform and innovation of the system and of information processing ability,has already achieved fast development.This paper describes its concept,function structure and some key techniques,including its applications and development prospects.
