摘    要:为了同时保证绘制速度和图像质量,提出了一种基于GPU加速的光线投射算法.该算法利用图形硬件自带的三线性插值功能来完成光线投射算法中耗时的采样、插值过程,在采样过程中进行空间跳跃,以实现绘制加速.实验结果表明:该算法保证了高质量的图像绘制效果,在增加存储容量较小的同时将绘制速度提高了95倍,实现了海量体数据基于GPU的实时绘制.

Ray-Casting Algorithm Based on the Combination of Octree Encoding with GPU Acceleration

Abstract:In order to insure both the rendering speed and the image quality,a GPU-accelerated ray-casting volume rendering is proposed.The algorithm achieves time-consuming sampling and interpolation by using the graphics hardware with trilinear interpolation function.Space leaping in the sampling process increases readering speed.The experimental results show that the proposed method ensures high quality image rendering effects and raises the speed by 95 times,white its storage capacity increases less.Moreover,GPU-based real-time rendering of mass of volume data is also achieved.
