Transforming Development Way, Optimizing Structure, Enhancing Quality and Increasing Benefit to Promote New Development for Steel Pipe Industry

In this article, it firstly discussed and analyzed the current status of China steel pipe industry in 2012 from several aspects, such as steel pipe output, market demand, manufacturing enterprise distribution, the situation of imports and exports, product price, technical improvement and so on. It also summarized development characteristics of steel pipe industry, and pointed out the existed weaknesses: steel pipe demand slow down, the contradiction of the excessive production capacity is still more obvious; product homogeneity of the same industry is serious; high cost and low price caused low profit; export difficulty increased; malignancy competition in the market highlighted and other problems. In the end, it analyzed the future situations which are faced with steel pipe industry, and put forward suggestions for existed problems, which is provided positive meaning with the development of steel pipe industry.
