基于JPEG2000的优化编码算法

摘    要:通过深入研究JPEG2000的核心算法优化截取嵌入块编码。发现分块编码每个位平面上三个通道所需编码的像素不均衡。根据这个编码特性,在结合小波系数特点的基础上,对分块编码提出高频子带最高位和次高位平面联合编码以及0和1位平面两通道编码合并的优化算法。这种基于编码通道合并的优化算法,一方面可以减少编码扫描次数,提高编码速度;另一方面,合理的联合位平面编码算法设计减少了对次高位平面上不重要像素的重要性编码,使无损压缩性能的提高成为可能。

Abstract:Through deeply studying the EBCOT block coding of JPEG2000,a coding feature that the three passes of block coding in each bit plane have different need-to-be-coded pixels is discovered.According to the coding feature and the analysis of the image transform coefficients,an improved algorithm encoding the highest and the second highest bit planes together and combining two coding passes on the 0 and 1bit plane is proposed.The improved algorithm based on the coding pass combination has some advantages as follows: on the one hand,it can speed up coding through reducing scanning times;on the other hand,the logical combination bit plane coding algorithm reduces the important coding of lesser pixels to the second highest bit plane and makes the lossless compression performance improvement be possible.
