背向散射差异与光纤接头损耗的OTDR测试

摘    要:本从OTDR测试原理出发,分析了OTDR测试光纤熔接损耗时背向散射差异的影响,通过实验分析了模场直径与背向散射差异的关系。根据模场直径分布,对光缆工程中OTDR单向测试结果进行了估计,并据此讨论了工程施工中熔接水平的简单判断方法。

Abstract:Based on the principle of OTDR test, this paper analyzes the influence of back-scatter difference on fibre splicing loss test by OTDR. The relationship between mode-filed diameter (MFD) and back-scatter (coefficient) difference has been studied by means of experiment. According to MFD distribution, one directional OTDR splicing loss has been estimated. Moreover, the simple method of judging splicing level has been discussed.
