The Research on the New-type for Aged Care Facilities Planning in Shanghai Pudong

Urban planning is now facing the challenge of trend of population aging. In the case of aged care facilities planning in Shanghai Pudong, the paper explores a new model of development facilities for the elderly by studying the experiences from home and abroad, and surveying behavioral ways of the elderly needs analysis based, proposes the actual pension systems and facilities planning targets for Pudong, also as spatial layout and implementation strategies; furthermore parses the meanings of Pudong model and improves the next thinkings.
