摘    要:受激布里渊散射(SBS)是光纤传输系统中一种重要的非线性效应,它限制了光纤中的光功率。文中主要讨论了SBS的阈值特性与光源静态线宽及光源调制类型的关系,并通过实验进行了验证。同时,还研究了SBS效应对系统误码率特性的影响。所得结果可为系统设计工作中考虑SBS的影响提供一定依据

Abstract:Stimulated Brillouin Scattering(SBS) one of important nonlinear optical effects in optcal fiber transmission system,it limits the optical power that can be transmitted through fiber.In this paper,the relationship of SBS threshold characteristic with linewidth of light source and modulation types was talked about,and was approved by experiments.At the same time,we have investigated the effects for bite eror rate characteristic of system due to SBS.
