摘    要:尼尔逊离子源已广泛地应用于重离子加速器、同位素分离器及研究用离子注入机。用于C-600离子注入机的尼尔逊离子源,目前已获得达100μA的三十余种重离子束,其中有近二十种固体元素。

Emittance of heavy ion beam extracted from Nielsen ion source

Abstract:The emittance of heavy ion beams (Ar+, Si+ and Bi+) extracted from Nielsen source was measured. The measurements of emittance with slit-probe method were performed on a test bench at different positions of the beam line (in front of and behind the annalyzing magnet).The measuring errors of emittance were corrected with different focusing voltages of einzellens.The experimental results showed that the emittances were different with the gap of the extraction, the shape of the plasma boundary and the increase of the ion mass and intensity of ion beams.
