| Abstract: | Analytical expressions describing the change in the surface conductivity (ΔG) as a result of the adsorption of positively and negatively charged atoms are obtained. It is shown that the ratio of ΔG to the adsorption-induced change in the work function (Δ?) rather weakly depends on the surface coverage with adatoms. |
