Abstract:ABSTRACT: Objective To investigate the contamination situation of heavy metals lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic in milk of Shijiazhuang city, and to ensure the safety of people''s food safety. Methods The pollutants (Pb, CD, Hg and as) in different brands of milk and milk powder on the market was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and the risk degree of Pb, CD, Hg and as in milk on public health hazards was studied according to GB 2762-2017 National food safety standard-Limits of pollutants in food. Results Totally 61 Samples were monitored, and the total qualified rate of lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic was 100%. The detection rates of lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic were 31.1%, 7.69%, 0% and 0%, respectively.. Conclusion At present, the overall level of heavy metal pollution in milk sold in Shijiazhuang city is low. However, some milk and dairy products still have heavy metal pollution, which should be paid attention to. In order to ensure the quality and safety of milk and milk powder, targeted measures should be taken to supplement and improve relevant standards and strengthen supervision..KEY WORDS: milk; milk powder; heavy metal; contamination; risk monitoring
