| Abstract: | The viewpoint that Chinese social Structure influences the city planning ideology is presented. Based upon introduction of the planning ideas of Chinese ancient cities, from site selection, symmetrical design, settlement mode, market transition and other aspects the planning practice of ancient city is discussed in order to promote the development of Urban planning in our country. |
