光纤喇曼放大器的结构分析

摘    要:光纤喇曼放大器以其灵活的增益谱、较高的光信噪比和较低的非线性特性,在近年来大容量、长距离光纤通信系统中获得广泛应用。文章在简述喇曼放大基本原理的基础上,针对其结构上的新特点,分析比较了3种典型喇曼放大系统的传输特性;指出通过在FRA中引入前向泵浦和色散管理技术,可以进一步提升喇曼放大系统的传输性能;并通过自行搭建的实验系统进一步验证了双向泵浦对FRA性能的改善。

Abstract:With its flexible gain spectrum,high OSNR and low nonlinear characteristics,Fiber Raman Amplifier(FRA) has acquired widespread application in high-capacity and long-distance optical fiber communication systems in the recent years.After concisely introducing the basic operational principle,the transmission characteristics of three typical Raman-amplifier transmission systems are compared and analyzed with the main trait on the new structure.It shows that the transmission performance can be improved by introducing forward pumping and the dispersion-managed technologies into FRA and the improvement is further confirmed by the bi-direction pumped FRA experimental system.
