Abstract: | Gedeon Richter, one of Hungary's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, has taken delivery of four new GMP centrifuges from Thomas Broadbent at its production facility in Dorog, Hungary, where they will be used to manufacture steroids, contraceptives and other drugs. The three bottom discharge vertical centrifuges and one horizontal peeler system will de-liquor active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) on the company's new chemical synthesis production line at Dorog. All the centrifuges come in 316L stainless steel construction materials and can handle a maximum slurry density of 1250 kg/m3. The new line is due to open in June 2004. |
