| Abstract: | Due to the increasing use of chip-cards for various applications chip-card manufacturers, i.e. the card and semiconductor industry, take every effort to continuously increase the security level of their products. It is essential for the development of security functions to take into account every potential scenario of attacks. This article describes present developments for smart-card ICs. |
