Upgrade of technologies used in 1 500 mm hot strip rolling line of Laisteel

Aiming at the problems of insufficient capacity release of production and low proportion of variety steels in Laiwu Iron and Steel Co.,the process and technology upgrading and reformation were carried out.The reformation of process equipment in hot coil box area,finishing rolling area,layer cooling area and coiling area were mainly introduced as well as the upgrading of automatic control system of the whole line.After the reformation,the annual capacity of wide strip line of Laisteel in 2018 and 2019 reached 2.04 and 2.17 million tons respectively,which were increased by 413 100 tons and 486 900 tons compared with that in 2017,and the proportion of variety steels were increased by 7.92% and 27.41% respectively,which has achieved good effects.In this project,the finishing stand mill was added on the premise of no reserved finishing mill foundation,which provides reference for the reformation and upgrading of backward production line.
