Study on the Formation,Modification and Application of Chitin Fiber

The development status of chitin fiber at home and abroad was introduced. The forming and modification of chitin fiber were summarized in detail. The forming methods included wet spinning and fermentation. Modification methods included crosslinking method, indirect production method, coating method and physical blending method. The extended application of chitin fiber in blended yarn fabric and nonwovens were also summarized.
