Analysis on the Technology Innovation of Vodafone

The year 2006 is the innovation year for Chinese telecom industry. Along with the monopoly being broken and the competition being facilitated, telecom carriers began to give significance to technology and service innovation. The transformation of technology, network and management and the creation of new industry value chain are encouraged by Chinese government. This paper investigates the comprehensions of technology innovation and tactics of Vodafone, the leader of international mobile carrier, to gives some references to the practice of Chinese telecom carriers in technology innovation.
