Multi-function dynamic balance detecting instrument performing fundamentally dependent on the MCS-96 series' 8098 chip microcomputer is a system based on digitalized microelectronics technology. The instrument implements its function by 16-bit chip microcomputer and dot matrix liquid crystal display device and the method of combining software filter with hardware filter, its mainly excellent character is that it can be easily operated by vividly displaying its procedure and result with high operating precision. In this paper, the diagram of the detecting system is presented, meanwhile the instrument's operating principle and workflow are introduced from the perspective of the software and hardware development.
