摘    要:利用相关函数rY(1)估计杂波多卜勒频率是一种工程上易于实现且常用的频率估计方法。在双模杂波情况下,这种频率估计方法在其在偏性而性能严重下降。本文在一种常见的双模杂波模型假设下,研究了一种基于四阶累积k4y(1)的非高斯杂波多卜勒频率的无偏估计方法,该方法利用k4(1)所对应的所有非冗余四阶累积量元素的加权和,从而明显降低了估计方差。

Clutter Doppler Frequency Estimation Using Cumulants
Abstract:The clutter Doppler frequency estimation method based on the auto-correlationfunction ry(1) is commonly employed in practical radar. The performance of this method degrades,however, in bimodal clutter einvironment due to the bias of the estimation. In this paper we presenta cumulant-based frequency estimation method under the assumption that the bimodal clutter consists of a Gaussian distributed clutter and a non-Gaussian distributed one. The method makes a fullutilization of all non-redundant sample fourth-order cumulants corresponding to the one-lag cumulant K4y(1),a counterpart of ry(1) in cumulant domain. It is shown by asymptotic analysis and simulation experiments that the method is unbiassed and outperforms the conventional correlationbased method and the cumulant-based 1-D slice method with reduced estimation mean square error.
