Discussion on supervision and contermeasures of small and micro river-related activities in river management practice

In order to improve the supervision small and micro river-related activities ensure the safety of flood control, and raise the standardization and management level of river channel projects,we have analyzed the impact of common small-scale activities involving rivers on the operational safety of embankments, flood safety in river channels, and the standardization management of embankments based on the works of the Yangtze River management administration,Wuwei City, China. Further more,the paper discusses specific control principles and treatment measures river administration agencies should establish and refine the administrative guidelines of minor river-related projects according to real situations, and thereafter implement standardized management, and eliminate the adverse effect of river-related projects.
