| Abstract: | The superconducting state in the doped fullerenes is due to strong coupling (e.g.,  2.1 for Rb3C60) to low-frequency intramolecular modes   L250 cm–1 (  2 1/2). The analysis is based on an equation describingTc for any strength of the coupling and on recent isotope effect and NMR data. |
