5G无线网络CU/DU部署策略探讨

摘    要:5G无线网架构中3GPP标准化组织将BBU重构成CU和DU两个功能实体,在实际部署时两个功能实体可以映射到不同物理设备上,也可以映射到同一物理实体.采用不同的部署方式,网络建设成本和时延等方面会带来不同的结果.本文综合分析网络建设、维护、应用场景需求和技术演进等对网络结构的要求,提出了近期和远期CU/DU部署策略.

Abstract:5G network will include three application scenarios: eMBB, uRLLC, mMTC. Each scenarios has different demands for latency, reliability, mobility. To fulfil these demands, the 3GPP has reconstructed the base station that divided BBU into two functional entities those are CU and DU. When we deploy the 5G RAN, we can put the CU/DU in a same physical equipment or in two different physical equipments. The CU/DU deployment strategy bases on the application demands, application scenarios and the network progress.
