| Abstract: | The observation of a great many very weak extra reflexions in the X-ray diffraction spectrum of a single-crystal of V3O5 indicates slight deviations from the centric atomic arrangement. The indicated space groups are P2/c and Pc with a unit cell orientation different from the one originally used. A recently reported phase transition near 150°C has been confirmed by DTA measurements. |
