| 摘 要： | 阐述了防御思想、等第思想、封闭思想、风水思想、审美思想等都是中国传统营造思想中的主要内容，介绍了传统城市或院落中的“墙”正是基于这一思想而建造的，满足人类的双重需要，同时也体现了中国的传统文化。

| Abstract: | Traditional Chinese architectural though takes into consideration matters of; defense, social hierarchy, an inward looking perspective, fengshui and traditional aesthetics. These aspects can be considered the essence of traditional architectural thought. The use of walls throughout city and yard architecture can be seen as a product of this thought. These walls try to satisfy humans material and spiritual need for space. In doing so, walls themselves have come to symbolize Chinese culture. |
