| Abstract: | Abstract This paper reports the study on ferric chlo-ride(FeCl_3·6H_2O)used in the esterification ofchloroacetatic acid and ethyl alcohol.The condi-tion in synthesis of ethyl chloroacetate catalyzedwith ferric chloride is disCussed.The results ofthe studv indicate that the catalytic activities isgood. |
