摘    要:应用平面波展开方法(PWM)计算了三角晶格和正方晶格二维空气柱光子晶体带隙结构。结果表明三角晶格和正方晶格二维空气柱光子晶体存在对应TE、TM模的带隙,并且在某些条件下存在完全带隙。比较而言,三角晶格结构光子晶体存在更大的完全带隙。

Abstract:Using the plane wave expansion method(PWM),we calculate the photonic band gap(PBG) structure of two dimensional photonic crystal(PC) with square lattice and triangular lattice.Both the square lattice PCs and triangular lattice PCs consist of air rod of circular cross section.It is shown that these PCs have PBG for TE and TM modes separately and exist absolute PBG for both TE and TM modes in some condition.The absolute PBG width of triangular lattice PCs is larger than square lattice PCs.
