Static and cyclic strength of a uniaxially reinforced material in bending (part 1)

Conclusions A built-up degree of damage =f/f_o 8% has virtually no effect on the static strength of an AD33-B CM operating in air. The arbitrary fatigue limit corresponding to this volume of damage on a basis of 2–10⁵ cycles may be taken to be equal to (0.5–0.55) _t.
