Realization and generalized frequency response for non-linear input-output maps

A realization theory is developed and the ‘generalized frequency response’ is presented for an input-output map introduced in a previous work. Relations with the realization of finite Volterra series are outlined. A simple example is given to show that the new representations have improved convergence properties.
